SERASYNTH® BR
If treatment for breast cancer requires the removal of the entire breast (mastectomy), the breast may be surgically reconstructed either during the same session or later when the cancer therapy is complete. This involves reconstruction of the breast using either the body’s natural tissues or a silicone implant.
SERASYNTH® MESH BR mesh implants are used to reinforce the soft tissue. A fixation with appropriately placed sutures may prevent the expander or the implant from slipping off both caudally alaterally.
Product characteristics
The meshes are integrated into the tissue structure by the ingrowth of body cells.
The material used for SERASYNTH® MESH BR have a tested tissue compatibility. The use of mesh implants facilitates symmetrical asjustment.
